About this space
The space
Casa de Cozumel is a beautiful Lakefront Home on Clear Lake just one hour north of the Napa Valley and 3 hours north of San Francisco. This listing is for lower floor guest suite with separate entrance, bath, kitchenette and bedroom and fireplace sleeps 5 ($150 -$225 per night). There is private patio, bbq , firepit, dining area that our guests have exclusive use of. We also give our guests exclusive use of the sundeck, dock, spa and lower patio. The kitchenette inside is small and is suitable for light use. As of February 2021 we have added a small Apt size stove/oven (with pots and pans) and refrigerator to an enclosed outdoor kitchen. There is also the following: compact under counter refer/freezer, sink, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster, crock pot.
Most people use the bbq to grill and make salads etc.
We have one tandem kayak and one SUP available for our guests and you are welcome to bring your own kayak, canoes and PWC. If you plan on bringing a motorboat please inquire prior to arrival if space is available.
This property is perfect for couples, small family groups, friends and traveling professionals. You must be at least 21 to book this property or be a guest UNLESS you are traveling with a parent or guardian. In order to keep this listing available for travelers and holiday seekers we also do not allow residents of Lake County to book without prior permission of the host. The house rules are posted inside the space. We do ask that you be respectful and obey the quiet times of 11pm to 6am and follow the checkout procedures.
As of the spring 2023 we have plenty of water in front of our dock. During the summer months the water quality for swimming because of Algae blooms though can vary day to day. We will do our best to advise the lake quality but there are still plenty of activities, kayaking, fishing and soaking in the spa. We can offer suggestions of other closeby lakes with beach access that are available for day use. We recommend Pine Acres Resort with a Day Pass Mon - Thur for $15 or Blue Lakes Lodge everyday $50. Reservations are required for both. You can also access the lake free from Hwy 20.
We are required to collect TOT taxes , city of Clearlake and County of Lake for a total of 10.5% for stays less than 30 days. This tax is included in the nightly fee.
