In a quiet village enclave, close to a shop, and a short walk to local pub, Y Golau is also within a short drive to Hay on Wye the famous book town also the Brecon Beacons and The Black Mountains. The River Wye goes through the village, with the Wye Valley Walk following its course – a bonus for dog-owners, but lovely for all. With its expanse of westward-facing glazed frontage, the house has been designed to enjoy the best of the sunshine, when available, but is bright and light even when the sun doesn’t appear.
