Welcome to our newly renovated 3 bedroom, 2 bath golf/ski cozy Hillcrest Chalet. Our condo is optimally located within the Schuss Mountain/ Shanty Creek complex. This 1320 sqft unit offers 3 private decks offering outdoor living space and an opportunity to grill out while overlooking the beautiful views of Schuss Mountain Golf Course and Schuss Mountain ski resort. This unit sits on the first hole of the Schuss Golf course and is within a short walk to the bottom of the Schuss Mountain ski resort. This rental includes seasonal access to 3 different pools (2 outdoor and one indoor pool and hot tub). Our unit is located within the Villa Monte community at Schuss Mountain.
The Hillcrest Chalet is located on the second floor with no neighbors above you!
Bedroom #1 is on the main floor and it has a queen bed and an adjoining bathroom. The kitchen, living room, and large balcony are also located on the first floor of the unit.
The two additional spacious bedrooms are located on the second floor of the unit. Bedroom #2 has a Queen bed with a private work space to work from home. It also features a private balcony with a view of the mountain. Bedroom #3 has a Queen bed and two twin beds also with its own private balcony.

The city of Bellaire is a short drive where you can find dining, shopping, a movie theatre, and coffee shops. The free Shanty Creek shuttle will pick you up right outside your door and transport you to any of the villages and even downtown Bellaire.
Shorts Brewery is our crowd pleaser with their craft beer, delicious sandwiches and pizzas (pro-tip...get there early or be prepared to wait). The Bee Well (Meadery & Cider) and Mammoth distillery are 2 other local favorites to visit while vacationing in Bellaire.

In the summer Shanty Creek Resort offers 4 championship golf courses and nearby access to many beautiful lakes and lake chains! You are just 11 miles from a public boat launch for the spectacular Torch Lake (voted one of the most beautiful lakes in the world!). Nearby is also a public boat launches for the Intermediate Lake chain, Lake Bellaire, and many others. You can bring your own boat (there is special boat and rv parking for the unit) or Riverside marina, Dockside, or Bedell's rent boats. Paddles & Pedals rents bikes, canoes and kayaks. Also enjoy seasonal fruit picking at King's Orchard.
During the winter months, enjoy downhill skiing, alpine tubing, dog-sledding rides, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, fat-tire mountain biking, snowshoeing and much more! After all, you are in the Michigan snowbelt!
The beautiful Boyne City, Traverse City, Petoskey, and Elk Rapids are within 20-45 minutes.
If the weather isn't cooperating you can always explore the wineries or casinos in the Traverse City area or head towards Boyne and let the kids play at Avalanche Bay indoor waterpark (both about 30 minutes away).
